Dental Exam

Routine dental examinations are an integral part of your overall health.  Only a dentist at Streatham Dental Centre will diagnose issues involving your teeth and gums.  We recommend a ‘check-up’ of an existing patient 1-2 times per year.  At each visit an oral cancer screen is conducted to detect any signs and symptoms of oral cancer.  Oral cancer can be fatal and is often asymptomatic in nature.  Any issue or problem in the mouth has a more favorable outcome if detected at its early stages such as cavities, periodontal disease (‘gum and bone disease’), or oral cancer.
